The National Tourist Organization (NTOCG) presented Montenegro’s offer at the CMT fair, which was held in Stuttgart over the weekend.
NTOCG announced that the Montenegrin offer was presented to interested visitors, including local media and tour operators.
“At this fair specialized in active tourism, visitors had the opportunity to learn about routes, with a special emphasis on around 4,5 thousand kilometers of marked hiking and cycling trails in Montenegro,” the announcement states.
At the Montenegro stand, specialized travel agencies for active tourism Adventure Montenegro, Explorer and Rams presented their offer, the variety of content, natural resources and the possibility of experiencing different adventures in a small space in a short time.
The CMT fair, as they explained, is one of the world’s largest tourism fairs with over 240 visitors and more than two thousand exhibitors from all over the world representing new destinations, countries, regions, and cities for active vacations.
“The German market is one of the largest emitting markets with over 60 million tourists a year. Germans are interested in active vacations, cultural events and want to learn during their vacations, not just enjoy the beach and sun,” the announcement added.
NTOCG said that, according to official statistical data, 50 percent more tourists from Germany visited Montenegro by December, who made almost 70 percent more overnight stays than in 2014.
